8th March 2020: JIAS Virtual Issue commemorating International Women’s Day

The Journal of the International AIDS Society (JIAS) has launched a virtual issue titled ‘Syndemic Co-morbidities and Co-infections affecting Women’, which is led by female authors, commemorating the International Women’s Day.

We are pleased to say that Professor Corbett and Dr Nliwasa’s article entitled ‘High HIV and active tuberculosis prevalence and increased mortality risk in adults with symptoms of TB: a systematic review and meta‐analyses’, has been chosen to be part of this important virtual issue.
